HTML Editor's notes:

The HTML Editor located a "Center Church" through
Bladen County, North Carolina Churches.
In the line which says, "Center Church" and "Jerome",
click on "L" to go to
34.79889,-78.67139+(Center Church) - Google Maps
or click on "T" to go to
TopoZone - Center Church, USGS Jerome (NC) Topo Map .
The two maps are different styles, but each is useful in its own
way.  Note that you can change the scale and size of the TopoZone
map to suit your own needs.  It is not known if this was a
Methodist Church, but this editor thinks he saw it in the late
1970's.  It was unused, but in good shape then.  However, in just
a few short years it was in bad disrepair.  It is now gone.  Any
additional information on this matter would be appreciated.

Update:
Matthew Melvin, a great-grand nephew of Amos Melvin traveled to
Bladen County on Saturday, July 7, 2007 and located the grave
marker of Amos J. Melvin and his wife, Emeline V., at what seems
to be the Center Church Cemetery.  The cemetery now has a fence
and seems to be well taken care of.

There is no entry in the book for BRAMBLE FAMILY per se.
However, information on the YOUNG, HENDON, FITZRANDOLPH, and
BRAMBLE FAMILIES can be found on pages 323 through 328.
The link I have given here mentions Melvina Bramble.
