HTML Editor's notes:

Information on the Kemp-Young-FitzRandolph Families may be found
on pages 323, 324, 325, 326, 327, and 328.  However there is no
separate heading: Kemp-Young-FitzRandolph Families.

There are no separate head-of-family pages for either
WALTER FITZRANDOLPH MELVIN or GEORGE FRANKLIN MELVIN.  However,
there is another reference to GEORGE FRANKLIN MELVIN on page 312.

The spelling of Averitt or Averitte is inconsistent in several
pages.  Perhaps Averitte is correct.

The spelling of Eunice or Unice is inconsistent.

In the line reading:
"son, Edgar Lee Melvin, born at the old DANIEL MELVIN place",
the HTML Editor has assumed the place of DANIEL MELVIN, II.

Variant word list:
Word searches conducted by computer may produce disappointing
results.  Therefore, for each page, there will be a list like
this of names with middle names omitted, maiden names and married
names used, hyphenated words reconstructed, etc.  Perhaps this
strategy will help those people who are conducting searches on
the Internet find who they are looking for on this page.
It has already proven helpful to the HTML Editor.
