Originally read:
"              dau. Elizabeth Young, married Herman Green.
               dau. Louise Young.
               dau. Frances Young."

The text in green is Lionel Melvin's addition, taken from
Lest We Forget ; Our Melvins and Kin, Page 326.
This is under the entry for THOMAS WESTON YOUNG.

The words in blue (son, Young) were assumed by the HTML Editor.

The two dates in red, 8 Nov. 1876 and 25 Nov. 1876 suggest an
error. One of them is probably a year or so off.

One day, about 1974 or so, two men visited the home of the late
J.S. MELVIN.  One was a Melvin, the other a Smith.  The Smith man
joked that he was "more Melvin" than the Melvin man, because he
had Melvin ancestry two different ways.  This HTML Editor
believes the man may have been either Lester Smith, the youngest
son of CORA ALICE MELVIN Smith, or perhaps a grandson of
CORA ALICE MELVIN Smith.  The Smith man also mentioned being a
part of the White Lake Melvins.  This anecdote also on page 122.

Variant word list:
Word searches conducted by computer may produce disappointing
results.  Therefore, for each page, there will be a list like
this of names with middle names omitted, maiden names and married
names used, hyphenated words reconstructed, etc.  Perhaps this
strategy will help those people who are conducting searches on
the Internet find who they are looking for on this page.
It has already proven helpful to the HTML Editor.
