   His Excellency Gabriel Johnson, Esq; His
      Majesty's Captain-General, and Governor in Chief, in and
      over the said province.
 
 
To the Surveyor General__________ Greeting.
 
You are forthwith to admeasure and lay out, or cause to
be admeasured and laid out, unto Daniel Melvin
a Plantation, containing One hundred__________ Acres of
Land, lying in Bladen__________ County, On the S^o.W^t.
Side of South River between Rufus Marsden's on
(unintelligible)ocks Lands __________
 
 
The said Land to be seated according to Rights, proved within
Three Years, and entered with the Auditor before the Delivery
hereof to the Surveyor: Observing His Majesty's Instructions,
for running out of Lands; and a Plat and Certificate thereof, to
return into the Secretary's Office, within Twelve Months from
the Date hereof: And for so doing, this shall be your Warrant.
Which Warrant may not be assign'd.
