HTML Editor's notes:

There is additional information about DANIEL JAMES MELVIN
(1864-1943) at the bottom of page 142.  This seems to be a copy
of some sort of Family Record, perhaps reproduced by the
"Blueprint" process.

There seems to be no separate page for the WHATLEY FAMILY.

Variant word list:
Word searches conducted by computer may produce disappointing
results.  Therefore, for each page, there will be a list like
this of names with middle names omitted, maiden names and married
names used, hyphenated words reconstructed, etc.  Perhaps this
strategy will help those people who are conducting searches on
the Internet find who they are looking for on this page.
It has already proven helpful to the HTML Editor.
