HTML Editor's notes:

The lines now reading:
"    (Director U.S. Navy
     Band)"

Originally read:
"    (Director U.S. Marine
     Band)"
This is Lionel Melvin's correction, published in
Remember Our Melvins and Kin, Page 349.

The line now reading:
as her husband and buried beside him. JAMES, son of JOHN and GEO.

Originally read:
as her husband and buried beside him. JAMES, son JOHN and GEO.

The word in blue, "of", is necessary for the sentence to be
understood correctly.  It has been added by the HTML Editor.

Variant word list:
Word searches conducted by computer may produce disappointing
results.  Therefore, for each page, there will be a list like
this of names with middle names omitted, maiden names and married
names used, hyphenated words reconstructed, etc.  Perhaps this
strategy will help those people who are conducting searches on
the Internet find who they are looking for on this page.
