Reunion Is Held By McKay Family


     JONESBORO,  May 20,--Sunday, May 15. Rev. and Mrs. L. M. Chaffin and daughter, Sarah, entertained a large number of friends and relatives at an informal luncheon at their home in Jonesboro.  The oc casion was a reunion of the McKay family whose ancestors settled along the banks of the Cape Fear in Bladen County.

     Those attending were: I. B. McKay and son, Charles, of Durham; Homer Lucas and B. F. Helmly, of Charlotte; Mrs. Alva Thornton, of Wilmington; Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Morrison and daughters, Jean and Harriette, and son, Billy, of Chapel Hill, L. D. Melvin, J. A. Melvin, J. S. Melvin and Misses Mattie and Lina Melvin, of Parkersburg; Mrs. T. B. Melvin and daughters, Eva Mac and Norma, of Sanford, and Master John F. Motsinger, of Winston-Salem.
