Chelsea (daughter of Betty Maultsby) and Aaron's last name is Zdawczyk.
William Drew Maultsby's wife's name is Phyllis Pechmann.
Galen Maultsby's DOB is July 8, 1981.
Vicki Driscoll's children, Keville and O'Brennan, were born in 1981,
not 1982 (they are a couple months older than Galen).
Also, for the picture with 5 sisters ("Sara Maultsby, Vicki Driscoll,
Phyllis Young, Gail Caison, Betty Maultsby") -- the unidentified
bearded man just behind them is their brother, William Drew Maultsby

I googled my husband's first name and one entry was from Lest We Forget,
the geneology of my mother's family. I went to the URL address and

My name is Flora Ruth (Boseman) Johnson. My mother was Lalah (It is
misspelled as Lala in the book) Ruth Melvin Boseman. Our family entry is on page
88. I have a copy of Lest We Forget. Based on the Google
search, I'm assuming that the whole book is posted online somewhere.
I married Tim Johnson (Cauin Timothy Johnson III) who was born in Dunn,
NC and was raised in Raleigh. We now live in Hemet, California. All

I know this has been long time in coming and maybe I will complete the names of the

I hope all of the information is correct. I am not so sure about the names of the
family members that have lived in Florida. I have never met the family of Ivan
Maultsby.
I do have pictures of all of Maggie's children except Woodrow and Ivan that I could
perhaps supply at a future date. There does exist a newspaper clipping of the death
of Woodrow Maultsby who died in the Pacific during WWII that perhaps can be located.

The following material was copied from a McKay Bible. The person, whom I
will refrain from using her name, has been told the Bible is worth thousands
on an auction site.
The Family Records are divided: Births, Marriages and Deaths. These records
are of the family of John A. and Catherine Ann (McKeithan) McKay and John A
and Matilla McKeithan McKay.
It appears that John A McKay married Matilla McKeithan (m. Nov 19, 1863)
after the death of Catherine Ann McKeithan (d. Apr 22, 1863). Were Catherine
Ann & Matilla sisters?

second group of births belong to John A and Matilla McKay.

President Andy McKay Jr. conducted the business meeting following the
fellowship of lunch. Those present were asked to introduce themselves and
share information of interest to the group. Several births were announced.
Richard and Mary Anna Bridgers are the grandparets of Carina Elaina
Garcia born yesterday--October 8th. Irvin and Mary Council Batten's son
Toby is new father of Kandun Ethan Batten born May 25, 2005. Glen and
Stephanie Horner Toney's son John Steven Toney (Sally Melvin Horner's
grandson) recently married. His was a full Scottish wedding. John and his
brother both wore the McKay kilts. You can enjoy the pictures of the
wedding on the McKay web site. Charles and Connie Council Davidson's
daughter Courtney Dianne Davidson (Aubrey and Sue Council's
granddaughter) was married June 18, 2005 to Nicolas Jeannot Pachis. Kim
Lewis Smith, wife of Mark Smith has completed her masters and is now the
Director of Columbus County Health Department.

Iver McKay Reunion
October 13, 2002
The 2002 Iver McKay Reunion was held October 13th at Camp Bowers at
White Oak N.C. There were thirty members present. President Bryan
McKay gave the invocation and blessing prior to a covered dish lunch.
Following lunch, President Bryan presided over the annual meeting.
Members were asked to share information of interest to the group about
occurrenes in their families. Sarah Katherine Bourne, daughter of Lori and
David Bourne was welcomed as our newest member. Leana Grace McKay,
newly adopted daughter of Andy Jr. and Beth McKay was also introduced.
A moment of silence was offered for the three members who have passed
since our last meeting: Leon Herman Melvin in December, Jane Baxter
Smith, May 31st, and Kenneth Council, March 3rd.

My apologies for being so derelict with my replies to you. We have been to
Florida to see an elderly aunt, had a friend to lose a young daughter, and had
as house guest for a week ,a friend from the Outer Banks. Hope things have
settled down for awhile.
I'm so impressed with work you have done on the McKay site and I promise to
try and so better. I'm such a novice at computer , scanner and everything that
it takes me forever to figure out the simplest thing! I've tried scanning some
material but haven't been too pleased with the results.
I found the same problems you did with the Barbara McKay site. Who is she?
I was also pleased to see the material on Iver that told of his birth register
on Dec.10, 1732 in Campbellton, Argall. Wouldn't it be interesting to know bef
ore that? I was always of the impression he came >from Craig Juran. Maybe that
was the sailing place only ,as that is on the coast on an island, which makes s
ense for sailing.
I'm most anxious for you to come here, rather than Bladen. I think you co
uld show me how to get the information to you properly, as well as have you look
at what material I have here. Much of it has already been printed in Mayo's bo
ok when I checked. Tuesday or Thursday of most weeks would be great. I do have
a commitment on March 1st and 15th at night. We'd love for you to come for
overnight or a weekend, if you would llke. I'm a better cook than computer expert!
I realize that your time is very limited so I'll abide by your wishes.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon. We'll invite Andy to come over if
you can come down. I can also give you easy directions to my house.

Received an e-mail from Willie Lucas Jones (page134-Bundy). She was very excited
about finding the web site. She and her sisters are planning to come next October.
Look what your great work is doing. She has had a change in e-mail. It is

On page 274 in the Bundy book there is mention of Daniel McKenion marrying Margaret McKay.
A good friend is of that line. We have tried to make a connection but this hasn't been possible.
She has gone back to a Daniel McKay, who definately isn't our Daniel. She is sending me her research.
I told her we probably could enter it in the furture under other NC McKays.
We're in the throes of last minute preparations to leave for Avon. Hope you had a good visit with Sally.
We'll check with you Saturday if we get back in time, otherwise we will see you on Sunday.

Cheryl Roxanne Council lost her second husband Kenneth Fredrick McKee 10-14-1993.
She married her third husband James Paul Rankin b.4-24-1948 on 12-10-1994.
Willis Aubrey Council Jr. now has two children Dana Elizabeth b. 3-22-1994
and Hayden Aubrey b. 5-22-1995.
Catherine Kemp Bourne now has a son in addition to the twins-Christian Alexander Weise b. 4-17-1996.
David Alexander Bourne is now married to Lori Lloyd b.10-22-1966 Married 6-10 -1996.
